Learn Harmonica Online!
Our online harmonica course is intended to teach how to play the harmonica, whilst providing an entertaining, enriching, creative and social experience.
There are 5 key reasons why the online harmonica course can be considered fruitful for education:
It is fun
The harmonica is one of the only instruments, which can be seen as a toy and easy to play. Because of its own nature, the students will discover the musical notes in a fun and approachable way.
In addition it can be an engaging and stimulating experience that will reveal your previously unknown individual skills.
It is professional
The harmonica is a real musical instrument that requires musical knowledge and can be used for a variety of music genres, such as jazz, classical, blues, folk, pop, gospel and world. There are many harmonica players around the world who made of their playing a full time profession.
It is accessible to everyone
It is relatively easy to play (it can produce a pleasant sound just by blowing or drawing) and therefore students will soon find it rewarding. Furthermore, it is one of the cheapest instruments you can find; a standard starting harmonica can be purchased for between £10.00 and £20.00. Finally, the harmonica is conveniently small, and can be easily carried around.
It is motivating
Learning to play a musical instrument is a motivating endeavor, which can enable the students to focus on reaching a rewarding and tangible goal: i.e. playing songs they like.
Medical use (Health)
Playing the harmonica requires inhaling and exhaling strongly and against resistance. Pulmonary specialists have noted that this action helps develop a strong diaphragm and deep breathing using the entire lung capacity.
Many artists introduced the harmonica to different music styles. It is thanks to them that nowadays we can find the harmonica in Blues, Jazz, Classical music, Tango, Flamenco, Brazilian, Irish music and many more styles. With our online diatonic and chromatic harmonica lesson we will study these artists and explore several music genres according to your preferences. Our harmonica chromatic course…..
